My Recipe for Chocolate-Peanut Butter Protein Bars

1 cup Grape Nuts
1 cup Quaker oats
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup Smuckers All Natural peanut butter
2 scoops unflavored protein powder
1 tbsp. wheat germ
1 tbsp milled flax seed
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup chopped dates
3 tbsp cocoa powder
skim milk 

Mix everything together in a big bowl with enough skim milk to keep ingredients cohesive. Shape into poo-shaped bars if you’re into that sort of thing. Since I’m trying to bulk up (which means lots of calories) I just make a batch each morning and have a big blob of it for breakfast. I keep the rest in a covered plastic container in the refrigerator and eat it over the course of the day. 

I use unflavored whey protein because vanilla protein powder does NOT taste good in this context.
